HEAVENLY REFLECTIONS
Winter 2025
Hello my loves! How are you? Are you feeling lovely? Are you feeling fine? Are you feeling glorious, and divine? I hope you are, because I am. And I am so very excited to welcome you all to the first edition of Heavenly Reflections, a quarterly newsletter featuring Miss Gay Pennsylvania America 2025 - me! Over the course of the next year, I will share with you all the ins and outs of my everyday life as your reigning symbol of excellence for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Each quarter, I'll give updates on what I've been up to, and what's expected to come for the next quarter. This first edition of Heavenly Reflections will be a special introductory edition, offering a chance to introduce myself to you all properly, and bring you up to speed with everything that brought me to this point in my drag career. The subsequent regular editions will be released in February 2026, May 2026, August 2026, with a final release in November 2026.
So, are you ready for a Heavenly year?
Miss Gay America 2024:
Winning Miss Gay Philadelphia America, a prelim to Miss Gay Pennsylvania America, was monumental for me! It was my first official title, representing the city that I love and call home, and notably, I was the first Black Miss Gay Philadelphia America. Representation matters so much in our communities. Being able to say I helped shape the diversity of the legacy of Miss Gay Philadelphia America is very precious.
Obtaining the title of Miss Gay Philadelphia America qualified me to compete for Miss Gay Pennsylvania America later in the year. When the weekend came to compete, I went in hoping for the best outcome while also prepared for whatever the end result would be. I made the top 5 and was able to compete on the final night of competition! The end of the night came, and awards were being given out, and I was sad not to receive any awards or recognition for my hard work. I continued to smile on stage, telling myself I'd process things privately later in the evening. So you can imagine my shock and surprise when my name was announced as the 1st Alternate! I qualified to compete nationally at Miss Gay America 2024! Herein lies the first lesson I learned that I want to share with you all - never count yourself out, never doubt your talents and abilities, and strive for consistency.
Being able to compete for Miss Gay America was a fever dream. The week went by so quickly, but it's impact was life altering. During the Thursday evening group awards, I was honored - and humbled - to win not only 1, but 2 awards for prelim competition for my group: Personal Interview and Talent. This marked another first - I was the first representative from Pennsylvania to win the prelim group award for Personal Interview, and the first representative to win multiple prelim group awards. How exciting!
Final night of competition, I was overjoyed when announced that I made the top 10, all during my first time competing in a national pageant! I had so little time to process as I had to quickly prepare to compete the remainder of final night. By the time the night was over, I was announced as the 4th Alternate. I had made TOP 5! Another first to add to the list of my accomplishments - I was now the first representative from Pennsylvania to place in the Top 5 at Miss Gay America.
To go from performing in drag on a whim, to placing in the Top 5 my first time at a national pageant just a few years later, is surreal. Words cannot explain how much all of the love and praise I received meant to me. To all those who were around me during that time - THANK YOU.
After Miss Gay America 2024, I realized 2 things - I wasn't done with this system, and I needed time to prepare to come back stronger than ever.

Preparations For The Present:
I set 2 goals for myself when I returned home after Miss Gay America - 1) Win the state title, Miss Gay Pennsylvania America and 2) Win the national title, Miss Gay America. I know all things happen in time, and it is my belief they happen when they're supposed to. With that mindset, I knew that I was not ready to reach either of those goals. So, I took 2024 off from competing in pageants. Well, mostly...
Pageant prep takes weeks, months, or longer. Even though I knew I was not going to compete in the Miss Gay America pageant system in 2024, there was still much work to be done. I began saving up money, reaching out to designers, wig stylists, dancers and choreographers, working on multiple talent concepts, and setting the stage for my comeback. During this time, I had the opportunity to judge for Miss Gay Gettysburg America. I could now see things from both sides of the table, so to speak. This insight proved invaluable and allowed me to prepare a great package from the viewpoint of a judge. And so I started making moves.
In 2025, I decided to return to bar pageantry, as well as the Miss Gay America system. My year of preparations proved successful, and I was fortunate to win every pageant I competed in 2025. First, was Miss Crimson Moon, then Miss Gay Central Pennsylvania America (of which, I am the first Black Miss Gay Central Pennsylvania America; this prelim also qualified me to compete for Miss Gay Pennsylvania America), and Miss Bob & Barbara's, all within a few months of each other. I worked hard, I put in the time and effort, I had multiple titles. I felt ready. It was time to reach my first goal...
November 2025 brought with it Miss Gay Pennsylvania America. The stage was set - pun intended - and after a fantastic night of pageantry, I was crowned. My return to the Miss Gay America pageant system was everything I had hoped it would be. I earned my ticket to compete nationally at Miss Gay America for the second time, this time around as a state title holder. My second goal is within reach!
What's Next?
As of this writing, it's mid December. Miss Gay America is a month away and I still have a bit more to take care of, and so much that's been done already in the last month. I've completed my Miss Gay Pennsylvania America onboarding with my state promoter, and scheduled my first official meeting with the city level preliminary promoters. I've secured my presentation look for Miss Gay America, I've booked travel for myself and my team to Little Rock, AR, I'm finalizing rehearsals for my talent, I'm making adjustments to costumes, wigs, and jewelry. Additionally, I've had a photoshoot with my new crown, I've performed in several drag shows every week which is helping me fund my trip, with more shows planned for the remainder of the month and early January. I've done a recording for a friend's podcast, premiering in February 2026 (look out for more info!). Needless to say, I've been quite busy this past month, and that's just drag!
In my personal life, I've continued with physical fitness goals I set for myself this year - I ran a Half-Marathon with my husband the morning of Thanksgiving. I'm going to try and return to doing a daily yoga practice soon as well. I recently started using the app Duolingo to try and learn a second language - I'm keeping my daily learning streaks as long as I can! At my day job, I'm training new employees who recently joined my team in preparation for a busy 2026.
The next quarter is going to be jam packed and I can't wait to reflect on everything with you in February's edition of Heavenly Reflections. I hope you've enjoyed this special first edition! Keep up with me on my socials listed below and be sure to say hello if you see me out and about.
Before I leave, I'll share one last thing that has helped push me through this year: manifestation works! If you manifest your goals, and put in the work, they'll happen for you. In January 2025, I manifested winning Miss Crimson Moon, Miss Bob & Barbara's, and Miss Gay Pennsylvania America. January 2026 I'll be manifesting winning Miss Gay America in my future. 😉
